From the ad, it looks like they are trying to emulate the original 500 (not the 500 plus), as it mentions kickstart 1.3. Iirc, only the 600/1200/4000 had the later AGA chipset.
If it still has a foot warmer as a PSU and makes the same noises from the FDD, that would be cool for nostalgic value.

I can't see the advantage over just running winfellow.

Thanks to this thread I'm now watching Amiga speedruns. Go go Captain Planet! Fuck that game was tough. Or shit. Possibly both.

sounds like the Amiga version of the Retron 5

You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

I still have 2 Amiga 600s (one with a meg of additional ram) in the loft. I spent many days of my life on that machine. CM93 would have me playing for days without much sleep.
Omg my father had one of these until about 5 years ago arounf the time I left the UK. I know it was this because I used to call it the Amigo, sad I know, the graphics were soo bad it was really funny. He had a game where you had to be and fight robots it had a long title. Anyway wow this site is fun, lot of here! Elena xx
^ oh dear, only 8 posts in and you have managed to insult many members on here with that post!
Elena, when these machines were released they had the best graphics at the time, not only that but the gameplay on some games then is actually better than most games now.
I kinda feel sorry for alot of kids now who missed out on growing up with the video gaming industry.
Shame no games ever came out for high end Amigas. Even at just 50Mhz it could have done some amazing stuff. I remember that Amiga's were used for the CGI for some sci-fi tv show.
