Can somebody help this poor fool who has been mugged into doing the music for a party.

The venue is already setup to the point I just need to turn up with laptop rammed full of music and away I go. Fortunately it is a low key family affair etc
What DJ type software do any of you orrible lot recommend that is sooo simple it helps a noob like me avoid looking a cunt .

There are a few out there. A mate of mine uses virtual DJ. I have a copy that you can 'evaluate' if you want. There is also this free software which certainly looks good but haven't tried it myself. (">

I use virtual DJ and is pretty good if you want to go right into it

But if running a playlist then just use window media player it has a crossfader function to join the songs together for you ;-)
