@bobo.. do the 3pm's have hd streams?

Also, ive always been a kodi user. But noticed id be financially better off using plex with this.

I assume i can install this on a PC mate? As thats my main media centre.

Sorry m8 that's still not clear enuf for me

Another long term Kodi user here, struggling to get my head around Plex setup options, with a couple of Q's

Is there a free app to view all the content in windows?
Or do windows users need to pay for a sub for a Plex pass or something to access the full content in this deal.

And if I wanted to share that content around the house to other devices I either need to setup a Plex server which would require a single Plex pass sub and a Plex client on each device or buy another PIN for each device?

    Thanks

You need a 'box' that you can install plex on. Depending on what you install it on(not all boxes work via PIN) you go into the settings on plex and click connect to my server. You will then see a four digit PIN. you give this to the server owner(or Bobo06 in this case) and your connected. Each payment is to connect 1 box only. If you want to run 3 boxes then 3 subs needed.

If you have a PLEX server running already with the IPTV.bundle add-on then you can go the other route and purchase a sub from a server who then provides you with a web link which can be pasted in the settings of said add-on. This link can also be used in conjunction with the SuperIPTV app on Smart tv's and simpleIPTV app on Android

Right, just dusted off my enigma 2 VU+ Duo which I've flashed with the latest Vix image. This has a 2Tb hdd which is only set-up for freesat. I have my Now TV with plex installed and a Rasp pi2 with kodi. I'm not interested in getting things in different room etc, but I'd be impressed if I could use the Now TV plex in conjunction with my VU to record iptv. Is this possible?

    Totally new to this.

ive installed plex on ps4. On first use it is saying sign in on another device, and enter this 4 digit pin. Is this what i would provide to bobo? And then i would automatically connect to the remote plex server?

You'd have to pay again, don't do that.

I use a dedicated micro pc that has kodibuntu installed and only runs kodi - I only use it to play music/films etc from my NAS. Having seen a few threads lately after the footie season has started Id like to see if I can get it set up to watch a few games. My NAS also runs plex server.

I've spent ages going round and in circles getting more and more confused the more I read.

Is there an idiots guide or any pointers for what's best for me to install? (quite happy to pay for a sub once I know what I need)
