Help S211 Brake Bleeding Procedure MB Star Benz

Please can a MB Star Benz guru talk me through the correct procedure for bleeding my car?

(Navigation of menus and actual procedure)

I will be taking all the safety precautions relating to the SBC unit.

I am hoping to borrow the MB Star system from a mechanic soon.

    Thanks in advance

You need a pressure bleeder (iirc, something to pressurise brake fluid to 2.5 bar). You will need to keep topping up fluid as it will deplete during the process.

You will need a receptable for the fluid - merc specify a bottle with a screw thread so prevent any splash back - fluid can come out at 200-300 bar which can cause serious injury. I've heard of people using large bottles and stuff, but if you do this and it injures someone don't say I didn't tell you.

Also you will obviously need basic tools to lift each corner of the car up, remove/refit wheels, and for the bleed nipple.

When you have all the kit, just connect to the car, connect to SBC, then bleeding will be either under actuations or adaptations.

It will then guide you step by step to do what you need to do (that's one of the best things about Star).

I have tried to bleed the brakes but mb star shows an error of voltage too low on the sbc unit, hence won't bleed the system.

Does anyone recognise this fault and how to over come it?

The SBC pump is approx 1.5 years old.

    Thanks in advance

Respectfully bud, if you don't know how to do this, then you shouldn't be doing it surely?
