Today I have bought a jigsaw (that works with batteries I already have) and a big sheet of mdf which I got b&q to cut into 3 sections for me. I have 2 x 180cm panels to cut to shape for the 2 sides plus the remainder which I think is wide enough to make at least some of the front and rear panels. Also got loads of fixings and brackets and screws so just got to draw a design on one side panel, cut it out and then cut the other side the same. I'll probably need another half a sheet I reckon to finish ever panel but this should be enough to make something that will stand up and be secure enough.

Ordered 2 joysticks, lots of buttons and USB encoders yesterday which I'm hoping will arrive in the next few days.

Looking forward to having a crack at it and if it all goes wrong it's only cost me £18 for the mdf.

Cheers,

Malty
