Am really happy with the camera on the 7 and it is a massive improvement to the one on my old 6. Will up some shots later.

I thought you said you were underwhelmed with your watch in the past. I'm also going to get the new one, but I am torn between the aluminium sport and the stainless steel.
I love the look of the black steel one with the black Milanese band, but the price is putting me off a little. I'll probably get the black steel one with a sport band and then get a 3rd party Milanese for a quarter of the price that Apple want.
I was a bit but have been wearing it non stop the last few weeks. The two complaints I genuinely had about it were no gps and not waterproof so the s2 is a must and as long as it works ok for running without needing to bring my phone along then I can sell my £200 running watch on top of the s1 Apple Watch.

In case anyone is looking, it would appear that currys online have stock of the 38mm grey S2 available for next day delivery.

Sadly I want to stick to 42mm

None except the very expensive ones available at Apple again today but John Lewis have stock of several series 2 sport models so I'll probably get one of those on a buy and collect from store (the have none in store according to the customer service advisor I spoke to but you can get it sent to a store next day for free).
Kind of a shame as I had half decided to spring the extra for stainless steel but this is probably the more sensible option !

Bloody hell must of got lucky with mine then had it preordered and awn i sent you a pm regarding the phones they had it in stock at white city so just paid for that and cancelled my preorder
Have to say first apple watch I've had and loving it
Have ordered a space grey 42mm series 2 which will be delivered to my local Waitrose at some point tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing what devs can do now it has a built in gps. As I said, hopefully it will negate the need for me to keep my Garmin running Watch sooner rather than later.

m8, am I reading this right? About the apple watch not being waterproof. I bought mine about 6 months ago and have never taken it off for a shower. I was even in the med sea 3 weeks ago swimming with it on. Or have missed something here??
edit....
just St googled it, I didn't know that!!!!

TAR seems to be a decent bloke!
You aren't supposed to submerge the series 1 watch. It's not rated as water resistant although I saw a great test by dc rainmaker (who tests just about every fitness device available) and he came to the conclusion it's actually far more water resistant than it's rated for.
I have worn mine in the shower a good few times but I never would swimming.
This was his review at the time, loads of waterproofing just under half way down.

I read it's ipx7, which is good for 1 meter for 30 mins. Guess I won't be swimming with it anymore!!!

I notice this morning that every model Watch can now be selected for collection from any Apple Store but they are all in a whole month's time. Glad I found one elsewhere as I think they might have supply issues.

After much convincing I've finally managed to get my brother to buy a 7 plus to replace his creaking iPhone 5 and the bloody thing is out of stock everywhere.. not even the usually more abundant high memory models.
Its just too many SKUs (colours, memory sizes etc..), no wonder they're having inventory issues.

Went into 2 John Lewis stores over the course of the last week and they both had some limited stock of iPhone 7 and plus available to purchase. I think it's just a matter of catching them right like I did with Apple.
