How much would you pay for a phone?

I didn't want to hijack anyone else's thread so decided to create a new one.

I personally have never spent more than €350 on a new phone (Nexus 5X) as that's pretty much my justifiable limit.

The purpose of this thread is not to be anti-Apple or whatever, just look at Samsung, they're similarly priced.

I just want to get a general idea of what people are willing to spend on a new phone to see if you're all lunatics or if it's just the odd one or two
