Agreed. I updated my PC and a laptop to 1607 without any real issue.

I went from 8 to 10 as opposed to a clean install. I'm going to pull data onto and external HDD and start fresh.

I've been using the fast track beta updates for a while on my SP3 Pro and with one exception late last year it's been fine for me but I guess the SP3 Pro is targetted "known" hardware.

Actually my hp mini pc that I use as a htpc has been complaining it needs space to be able to update. I wonder if it's that update it's trying to install. Might disable the updates in that case as I could do without that one screwing up, the missus and daughter use it all the time.

    • Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3194496)

once this has been installed my games run at 1 fps, totally unplayable
    before they run at 60-80

    EDIT:

I have just restored a backup and then tried to stop getting the update to no avail. this fecker just installs, anyhow I let it finish and after a reboot I played Diablo III, and now the game is running as it did before the update.
I have checked the update again and it is tellin me that my system is upto date
