Default I need my phone line connecting to the fibre exchange

I am moving from Virmin to another supplier, but I need my phone line connecting to the exchange, its all been done 12 months ago to my house but not physically to the exchange. who do I need to talk to. obviously not Virmin as they are a cable company

A phone number or email address would be great

Your broadband provider would put it in as a request for BT openreach to do it. I don't think it's anything you can sort for yourself.

Did a lot of IT contract work for BT and although ofcom/oftel split the company up so in theory ANY company can connect you via BT Openreach which is true.

I know first hand you will get a better service/deal/experience by using BT themselves. Openreach should operate (by law) the same for all providers but as of yet I know they do not. Perhaps not the cheapest on paper but do you want the job done or do you want a cheaper job that 9 months later turns out to be a complete fuck up....

Edit: Re Maltloafs post.. You dont need to even order BB. You can put in a request for a humble phone line and they must connect you.

    Thanks to piggzy
