Default BASH Shell in Windows 10 Anniversary

Don't know if anyone has tried this out but MS have released their implmentation of BASH for Windows so you can run (most) command line Unix stuff within Windows! Quite useful if you like or use Linux at all. It's based on Ubuntu from what I understand which is nice

I run quite a few Linux processes on a VPS so I'm going to give them a go on my Windows box. If all goes well I may even get rid of my VPS

Default Re: BASH Shell in Windows 10 Anniversary

I've used it and it's really rather good. Still not quite the same as a Linux/osx box and the bash shell's user space is separate from the windows one.. although bash dies mount the windows drive. I use it most for SSH access...
