    Attach it to the groove in my skirting board around the room. However I reckon the non-led part/ circuitry would be very visible so want to pay it white to blend in...

    I would maybe think about something like this instead : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Will protect them from being hit and diffused gives a much nicer glow.
