Don't know if anyone has seen this yet - Essential viewing for anyone in their pomp during the nineties. Fucking superb. Available in the usual places.
Although I liked quite a few of their tracks I couldn't stomach watching something about Liam Gallagher ... vile cunt.
If you liked Blur and Pulp you invariability hated Oasis... or at least I did.

I loved the earlier Oasis stuff but I remember being at a festival when Standing on the shoulders of giants was released and being completely disappointed in it and for some reason that turned me off the stuff I had previously loved. I very rarely listen to them now.
Conversely I never really got Blur but now I think the records are tremendous.
I ALWAYS loved Pulp. Genius song writing imho.
Looking forward to watching this.

Fucking hated Oasis and the two cunts. Was never really a fan of Blur either and only liked Common people by Pulp.
I was more part of the Hard Rock / Heavy Metal / Thrash scene back in those days and whenever the odd Oasis fan managed to get into the local Rock club (Krazy house in Liverpool), they'd almost ALWAYS end up in a Slam to Sepultura or Rage Against the Machine (Killing in the name of most of the time) whether they wanted to be in it or not haha.
It was a time of great merriment when that happened
I was 100% metal from 1986 to probably 1997/8. Have seen everyone, met loads of them, went to a billion gigs. I still adore the music but I grew out of the scene a bit. Come 1998 I feel my musical tastes 'grew up' and if it sounded good it was good and it didn't really matter what genre it was from. Even got into the rave scene and everything else in between !
The only genre now that I don't really get along with is Reggae.

Yeah that's kinda the same with me. I still love all the tracks from back then but don't find myself listening to them as much as I used to. I still have a fair few on a pen drive in my car but even then, sometimes, I'll skip past a couple of Machine head songs for something a little calmer haha.
I've never got into the rave/dance/techno scene however I do appreciate some trance from time to time. I'm much more into Blues/Rock stuff now with the odd moments of the heavier stuff .
