Default Problem with my TV (Samsung UE55ES6800 55" ) any idea on fix?

Hi all, I've had my to for about 4 years now and the past 6 months I've noticed these lines getting worse coming down the screen. I've tried various sources, cables etc so know it's not the connection and definitely on the screen itself.

It's a Samsung UE55ES6800, cost a fortune when we got it and really would like to keep it working but when it dies I'd probably just get a cheap 50" from Asda etc.

Any ideas on a fix / reason for the lines?

    Thanks in advance.
(Hope this is relevant section to post it in)

    Hi M8
From model number it U= LED. E= European, 55= size, E= 2012, 6 = series 6 (not top range but decent) 800 = high up in series 6 range.
If I was you I would repair itm several sites supply screens / mainboards for tv, I would give them an email and ask if its likely just to be the panel and then buy one,

if you are gonna buy a new board, itmay be worth the Oven trick.
wrap all plastic parts in grease proof paper Then tin foil to protect them,
    put on tray in oven 2 mins @ 100, 2 mins @ 150, 2 mins @ 200, 2 mins @ 220 then turn oven off & let cool sat in the oven
used this trick on PS3, 360 & high end Graphics card

    Thanks to WRATH OF BOD

Although it may well be the bboard, I'd also look into gently 'massaging' the strips connected to the LED Screen itself. Some of these can be made quite tight and over time would cause this type of issue.
I 'massaged' an LCD a few months back after also getting rid of some condensation moisture that caused ghosting. TV is back perfect now.

Be aware, stripping a 55 inch LED Screen to it's actual panel is not for the faint hearted! Softly, softly approach highly recommended. Those sheets covering the LCD are incredibly thin and so easy to tear.
