    Default St Cadoc's Asylum

Designed by Alfred J Wood and opened in 1906 the hospital was named after Saint Cadoc. The original building design allowed for accommodation of 350 patients, later extensions to the original buildings allowed for that figure to increase.Closure of the hospital was scheduled for 2008 but recent additional building works signal that the hospital will remain open for the foreseeable future.
