Just wandering what VPN provider people in the UK are using?
I'm prepared to pay. I would just like to know who is offering the most secure and fastest VPN at the moment?

Zenmate is free. Have a look see if does what you want
Yeh I did look at that and apparently it's not all that great. The general consensus seems to be that if you want the job done properly you need to get a paid VPN.
There's just so many to choose from and many are based in the US. This may not be a problem but I would have thought if my traffic has to go all the way to America and back the result will be slow downloads. This may not be how it works. VPN's are new to me. I'm looking into them and assumed there would probably be a few people here from the UK using one so just thought I'd throw the question out.
Thanks for your reply though.
A Good VPN will let you choose where you route your traffic. I use Astrill which has about 150 servers in its drop down menu. Speeds vary greatly but its not unusual to max out my 20meg connection even when routing from China, to america, and back. I have tried numerous other VPN and settled on Astrill about 2 years ago.

is there any vpn providers that are totally unlimited? I would love to get a private vpn setup in conjunction with my spoofbrowser app. this would save having to fuck about changing the ip everytime you want to use it etc

I spent a very long time researching them all as a lot lie about logs etc. Private Internet Access came out on top for me and it has two UK servers you can select.

I once used a US VPN (Giganews one) for downloading my torrents but got a warning email from the US for that whereas i never have when downloading without one..
Was that a one-off do you think or is it still best not to show a US IP when downloading the torrent?
supe
Do not use Giganews or any of their services!!!! They are the most expensive and are supposedly cahoots with various organisations who you do not want to have access to your info (which is logged).
Whether it's true or not they are expensive and too much mud has been slung at them for me.

I was using private internet access for a while and they claim to keep no logs I.e. nothing to hand over.
They aren't too expensive either when paying for a year.
The speeds were good too when on UK based servers.

I have used private internet access too, I have to agree with Warno they are pretty good, cheap and reliable
I'm with Ironsocket that use OpenVPN.
I used a discount code to get 25% off but unsure if it still works (BESTREVIEWS).
They say they keep no Xfer/DNS logs. I'd like to believe them.
