A friend of mine was involved in a wild party a few weeks ago during which a bunch of guys and girls had an orgy. Snorting Charlie from the girls arses etc. A couple of the photos taken on a phone were shared online. The girls knew they were being filmed and were quite happy to go along with it. I understand two of them are strippers.
My friend told me one of the girls was upset the photos were shared online and made a complaint to the police. As a consequence my friend has been charged by the police. Not sure the charge but ‘revenge porn’ was mentioned. He has denied the charge and told the police he was present but he didn’t take the photo and he didn’t share it on-line.
If he did take the photo and he did share it on-line is there any way the police can find this through metadata on the photo? His solicitor thinks they can’t and he should be found not guilty but some solicitors haven’t a clue about technolo.
