NON ILLIGITAMUS CARBORUNDUM
Yes and no
If MAD2 is faulty and not communicating with cobba properly, or a pad is off under cobba, no.
If cobba is dry, a reflow will fix it
If it is faulty, a replacement followed by a rebuild will fix it.

Will i need to reflow or maybe replace the COBBA IC with a hot air rework station

Hi,
Wouldn't try replacing it mate, chances are you'll kill the phone totally!
Regards
Too true - I meant replacing cobba could fix it, not that it could be done by the hobbyist.Originally posted by RudeYute

You need to be able to rebuild the imei and SIM lock data afterwards, but fitting a cobba isn't really that much of a big deal.

This has happened to my 3210. It happened straight away after trying to use a free vodafone smcs off a website? Does anyone think this may be related or just a freak coincidence?
