Decided to take the plunge and install Windows 10 on my Surface Pro 3 and test out the game streaming.
It works surprisingly well after a bit of a false start. There's very little info on the web on HOW to actually use it.
For anyone wanting to try this out there's a few caveats. You have to be running the latest build of Windows 10 Insider Preview and after installing it you will need to wait for the windows updates to happen to bring it up to date and update the XBox app which it will do on it's own if you leave it for a while. Start the XBox app up and find the "Connect" option on the left hand side of the window, Connect to your XBox One and then click the Stream option.
You do need an XBox One controller connected to your PCs USB port for it to start.
Tried a few games so far (Farcry 4, Forza 5 and some 360 titles.) Had a few issues but these are related to Windows Wifi issues where my SP3 loses wifi connectivity but this is a known bug with the current Windows 10 build.
Love being able to play my XBox One from anywhere in the house - even the garden Might have to invest in the wireless adaptor when it gets released later this year.
