Clearly you have not read your welcome message and are straight on the leech.
This does not go down well here.

I suggest reading your welcome message and posting an intro in the relevant section.

If your using the Google Now launcher then you can send texts by simply saying "Okay Google, Text John Smith".

Or you could just pull over to a safe place, stop the fucking car and just send the text normally. The amount of distraction involved in trying to send a text, even via all voice commands is massive compared to that of simply making a hands free phone call because when you're trying to dictate the text, you're still looking at the screen far too much and having to correct errors from dictation.

I don't get this need for people to be constantly in touch with other people when driving!

If it ain't women at the fucking lights faces down in their phones whilst the lights have gone green, it's fucking truckers wiping families out or other people weaving all over the road.

Just put the damn phone away and if needs be, reply back in a safer situation if it's so important.

morning the group is for help, not a lesion, if what you say was correct stopping the car every few seconds was more of a risk to safety, but then why hasn't the car manufactory just don't make it than it cant be used which they wont because it technology, and that will never stop, all I am interested in how to get it to work thanks .

I am helping you!, by educating in just advising that you just drive the car. The manufacturers implement these options into cars purely for marketing! "look at this cool feature here, cool feature there", when all we need is for people to just put their fucking phones down and concentrate on the road!

If you find yourself in a situation where you have to stop the car every few seconds, then you seriously have to make a solid evaluation on your situation. Is it actually THAT important that you're having to respond to texts over and over again? Why not just make a call and get the damn thing done completely hands free? Failing that, stop the car, send ONE message that says. "I am driving, I will call/text you back later" In fact, you can set that as a quick text so you don't even have to type it.

Using the excuse of stopping the car every few seconds being a risk to safety is weak because in most cities these days, you have to stop/start all the time so your point on that is moot. Trying to text whether it be manually or hands free is a cunts game and the cause of far too many incidents.

Maybe I'm being over-reactive here but there is absolutely NO place for constant text based communications in vehicles of anything up to several tonnes.

ps. Here's the real twat moment. It took me at least 3 or 4 times reading what you posted to actually make sense of it.

PMSL! You call what you write "English"?

Sorry if you feel aggrieved at my comments but I stand by them. The car is NO place for texting whether you type it or attempt to speak it.

    Thanks to dpSparhawk

Better still, if Google Now is installed and setup correctly for Voice (check it's settings), you can simply text with your voice by saying -

"OK Google, Text 'I am on my way and cannot reply while driving, I will call you when I stop' to John Smith's Mobile number"

Google will simply reply with your message and ask if you want to send it. Say Yes.

Job complete and no-one died in the making of this SMS Message.
All put your fucking handbags down and go about your lives. My God!

Similar can be done on the far inferior fisher price Apple Iphones as well by replacing OK Google with 'Oi Siri'.
