i recently went to the apple distribution centre for UK and Europe it is immense, you get frisked on the way out as it would be easy enough to slip a shuffle or nano in a sock, or your wallet etc. What I could not believe was that they power on and test every ipod that leaves the warehouse,

If you are wanting an ipod you'll be sorely disappointed. It seems to be mostly off the accesories. As said before, £5 of a nano, £11 off a touch or classic... and wait for it... £61 off a £900 macbook.

I was quite disappointed with the offers, having hung on hoping for a reasonable saving on an iPod Classic. £168 off isn't really good enough though when you can get one from Amazon for £162 which is what I ended up doing.
