But back on track sky pisses me off as we pay to watch so many adverts and most of the films are old. So I walked as well.

Netflix is great but I would just find someone you know with Sky and get their login details and then you can use sky go on laptop/phone or sky player xbox.
If they use this service then you can get them to add sky go extra and they get another 2 devices for £5 more a month. Then you just give them a tenner a month and take the 2 devices. They can add you as a user as well so you don't have to use their login details.

    Thanks to inspectercoley

Does the person with Sky need to have Sky Multiroom to be able to use Sky Player on the Xbox? The reason why I ask is my sister has got the basic package (entertainment I think) so will I be able to watch sky on the Xbox1, using her details, when the app comes out for it?

Yes if it comes out. Sky Go Extra is now included with Sky Multiscreen at no additional cost so you can have 4 devices for free if you have this

J-Tag 360 RGH 360, PS3 Super Slim, Xbox 360 Slim, WDTV Live with CFW, Vu+ Solo 2, Dreambox 500HD Connected to 1M Motorised Dish.

    2 Thanks given to bobo06
