Here's new guide I've just put together :-

1.) You need a patched version of Tomtom software - it will not work with the genuine software.

2.) Copy new map folder to Tomtom (can also copy file named ' MapSettings.CFG' from old map folder to new map folder, this will keep your Home & Favourites locations).

3.) Make a note of your DeviceID - this is a 10 digit code eg. ABC12DEF34 . Open the document named DeviceID using notepad in the keygen folder and enter YOUR DeviceID code (NO SPACE) then save.

4.) Leave Tomtom connected to PC & on PC click on "RunMeforAllAutomatic" in the keygen folder.

5.) You will see this :-

Enter 1,2 or 3 for your Choice, Standard is 1

1. Run it for Navcore 8.010 and higher
2. Run it for Navcore 7 up to 8.002
3. Run it for Map 6

So Enter 1 after 1-3 :

6.) You will then see a list of all Available Drives - Enter the drive letter (eg - E ) of your Tomtom - do not add : or \

7.) Should now see this if successful (Map name will be different if using a different map):-

8.) Pressing any key will then close the "RunMeforAllAutomatic" - Remove Tomtom from PC - Tomtom will start up - first start up could take a few minutes.

AFAIK - this nice tool from TTuser checks the ttsystem file to see if it's patched, and if it isn't then it will patch it automatically for you.

Cracking tool though

I finallly finished fitting an 8Gb sdhc card into my TT One v3(512Mb) so it's now running Navcore 8.011 and has the 810 maps for Western+Central Europe, UK+RoI, Iberia and DA-CH-AT installed with loads of room for more :o)

yep the v7 stuff runs on windows mobile 6

that should work, its a cab file install.

then you just need the map to go with it, run the program first, let it detect the map then run the keygen.

ive done all that - every time just says cant find gps and asks for voucher on the map (im not a noob btw - hacked dozens of tomtoms before now)

do i need to crack the actual app as opposed to the map ? i see no ttsystem file on the pda (this is my first pda tomtom install btw)

no need to crack that app,
also the voucher part shouldnt be used, the way i got it running on my htc diamond was just to install it. copied the map to the root of the drive. it detected it in the program on startup but gave an error when you select it saying its not activated.
after that it generates a ttnavigator.bif file. inside that is the device id.
the keygen should automaticaly read the id from that file as well as the map files and generate the .dct file.

run "RunMeforAllAutomatic" press 2, 1, enter drive letter

btw is the map loading up? if that device has internal gps, it needs most likely needs to be set to other nmea device.

it loads the map HOWEVER it will not select the internal gps and is stuck in flight mode - and the voices dont work (no audible sound)

Make a full back up of everything first - software & map, but if you get this right it should work. What device have you got ?
