BT Fibre Rollout - Selective?
BT have rolled out fibre in my area however I can't get it.
My estate is about 10 years old although the council has never adopted it for maintenance - roadways, green areas etc. Would this be the issue with pushing the new cables round?
I haven't a clue where to investigate further - any pointers?
My parents, two miles away can get the service using the exchange in my village!!
Re: BT Fibre Rollout - Selective?
It will probably be that your cabinet has not been upgraded
Re: BT Fibre Rollout - Selective?
If you are too close to the exchange you can't get it as its fibre from the cab and not the exchange and they won't put a cab right next to the exchange. My mate lives next door to his exchange and he's too far away from the nearest cab to get it.

I was given this link by Plus Net support, http://dslchecker.bt.com/ this gives some details which measure up to the service I receive, interestingly though my parents phone number won't bring any results back.
