Motorola G50 From Tesco Mobile
My Samsung S20 is in for a screen replacement so I purchased a sim free Motorola G50 from Tesco mobile.
When I look into the menus I don’t see any advanced option menu.
What I’m looking for is the option to turn on WiFi calling but Tesco Mobile don’t offer this feature which I wasn't aware of, so.
Can I get into some hidden menu to turn it on?
Can it be flashed so I can use my Sky sim (that’s what I’m using at mo)?
Been out of this game for years hence the questions.
Thanks.
Re: Motorola G50 From Tesco Mobile
Did you google it?
try this if you haven't.
Go to the Start screen.
To open the menu, swipe up on the screen.
Scroll down.
Choose Settings.
Scroll down.
Choose Network & Internet.
Choose a SIM card, in this case, SIM 1.
Choose Advanced.
Choose Wi-Fi calling.
Enable Wi-Fi Calling.
If this screen appears, choose CONTINUE.
If this screen does not appear, go to the next step.
Wifi Calling has been enabled.
Return to the Start screen.
Re: Motorola G50 From Tesco Mobile
Yes hence why I said above “When I look into the menus I don’t see any advanced option menu” and that’s where on other providers phones is the WiFi setting.
But on this Tesco handset I don’t have the advance option so I can’t turn on WiFi calling hence the flash option.

Try searching for firmware.

Found this: https://www.getdroidtips.com/motorol...49-1-firmware/
I’ll have a better look when I get home.

Been a while since I messed about with tablet or phones but always found XDA forums a great source of info and safe firmware. Might be worth a look there.
