Hi all my name is Flyboy_uk and I have been doing the ftp scene for a short time now..
I don't mind helping ppl with any questions they might have nor with their technical problems if I can help just ask..

I've been on the internet for a few years, and always find something new to do...

This board looks really good.. My first board I have joined (believe it or not) so if you some messed up posts then I apologise in advance.

I have been using DC++ which is a peer to peer network with a lot of Terra bytes available for about 2 years.. But got sick of connecting to hubs and stuff.

With thanks to 4me2 who I met on an IRC channel.. Thanks a lot m8..

If anyone could help me get started or advice on finding links for ftp of other just give me a call I'd very much appreciate it.. Cheers!

df-hub.servebeer.com = to get in PM ABCman with your user and password.

and

Thanks for the offer of hbs might take you up on that only my connection is a bit sad I can only have ISDN in my area.. WHICH SUCKs PPL.. so all of you that have broadband then count yourself lucky! because isdn just takes the pi*s.. so all feel sorry for me!! (and send me lots of money ROLF!!...Please so I can payBT to do the exchange.....lol)

lol I know what you mean ;) I'm on 56k myself and it does hammer my connection - I'm still in there 24hrs a day though :D

we have an FTP section for VIP members /contributors read the sticky in the dog and duck m8.;)

The share limits are pretty low -

df-hub.servebeer.com = 2gig

dfhub.servemp3.com = 1gig (but flexible if still building a share) ;)

sounds good I have 50 gig to share.. but most of had to be removed for linux.. just in case I'll put requests on though...
