Bluetooth auto pair hack ?

Hi all,

I'm using my Xperia Z1 with a bluetooth low emission (4.0) device for phone notifications etc and I have paired it and when it's in range it works fine.

My problem is when it goes out of range and then back in it never reconnects. It should do but doesn't There's some incompatibility somewhere and I have to re-pair the device and my phone.

I'm waiting on a firmware update to help with this as apparently it's happening with a few different phone models but I'm wondering if I can do anything in the meantime to hack it better ?

I tried Bluetooth Auto Connect from the play store but it doesn't seem to help at all.

At the moment I have to take my phone with me to avoid re-pairing. If I forget then it's a 4 minute job to repair and resync the app.

Any ideas ?
