August X-Box's

I was in a console shop in a small town earlier in the week who had both old X-Box boxes and the new smaller ones.

However both consoles were made in August. Has anyone had a new console made in august packaged in the Samller boxes that has been sucesfully modded?

Cheers, didn't buy because was not sure and dont know how far away new chip is.

actually neither did i, i was under the impression that the only difference was the inside was different, and that the black top was more shiny, i didnt know they were smaller.

goldberg did you actually see them m8, and how much smaller were they if you did

Yeah the box is actually slighty smaller when next to the old box (were talking about the cardboard box here and not the console it'self)
