is Webro WF100 coaxial cable fine for freeview use or RG6?..
hi
looking to get some coax cable and this webro stuff seems to be popular..
is it ok for use on freeview & sat?.. or should I get RG6 cable?
looking on ebay but anyone know of cheapest place to get some from please?
got to try and get some delivered thsi weekend or Monday before plaster starts on walls..

You should be able to walk in and out of screwfix with a reel if you are in a rush but you can probably find cheaper elsewhere.

WF100 is fine....Ive used it loads as it has the foam insulation not the airspaced plastic...therefore it prevents water ingression.
Its also more resistant to kinkage.

this is really only for Freeview and indoors, would RG6 cable be fine?

RG6 is fine, but WF100 is better, lik Nibb says, the di-electric is foam and also the shielding is solid rather than the braided stuff so less prone to interference.

Any 75ohm cable is fine, IME WF100 is perfect for all installs, should last you 10 years no probs.
