atv2 - xmbc etc need some advice
evening all
just got hold of a atv2, took me a while to not pay over the odds!
took me 2 days to eventually JB! but its done, ive installed xbmc and also nitox, but thats as far is ive gone....
after all the usual UK stuff, movies, sky sports, bbc i player etc etc, basically want to fully load....
ive installed the fusion.xbmchub.com but within this i cant find hub-wizard..... which following some of the tutorials its asking me to install.
so im stuck here, and going to give up until i can get some help/further advice from someone uk based who knows what i need and what is worth having :very_drunk:
thanks in advance
Re: atv2 - xmbc etc need some advice
After adding fusion.xbmchub.com have u then gone to add ons then "install from zip file" and selected fusion - thats where you`ll find the wizard.
personally I prefer to add my add ons myself and not let the wizard installers do it for you as they add a lot of shit stuff as well.
the mash up repo is a good one to add also. www.mashupxbmc.com
take a look at www.superrepo.org you can download most add ons there.
My favourite add ons are Icefilms, Mashup, Navi X (now back up and running ), TvOnline.cc, Movies 25, for live sports the buzzy sports section of Mash up is very good also as is Navi X.
the ATV2 is no longer the bees knees of XBMC players many of the much cheaper Android boxes outperform it and are easier to work with plus the ATV2 cant play 1080 files. (Im not biased Ive got 2 ATV2`s and 2 Android Boxes)
Re: atv2 - xmbc etc need some advice
cheers for that will take alook!
basically all i see via xbmc is what you can literally see if you enter via normal web - http://fusion.xbmchub.com/
this all i see
Re: atv2 - xmbc etc need some advice
In that case, you've done it right. Just install those Repos/Add-ons and you're golden.
Consider adding http://xfinity.xunitytalk.com too.

Mrphil
Good morning
Here goes
Boot up into XBMC then head to settings
Goto add ons then install from zip file
Then into fusion then into folder entitled START HERE
Select the option plugin.video.freshstart-1.0.4.zip
That will run the program for you just follow the prompts saying the appropriate answers for your situation.
Once this is done let it run and boot up back into the main screen of XBMC head over to the PROGRAMS section in there will be a program called XBMC fresh start. Run this and that should get you started with repos etc.
Any other issues drop me a PM

Thanks for the info. I've had a atv2 that I managed to jb but also got no further now for about 4 months since when a few of the apps got blocked by the isp's. I'll follow the advice and see where it gets me.
Re: atv2 - xmbc etc need some advice
ISPs there is a way around also look for a VPN

Just followed these instructions and once XBMC fresh start runs, I can no longer see Fusion in the Add-Ons let alone find ice films or Navi-x etc. just going round in circles sorry
