First thoughts...
1) Lose the turquoise background colour - who's idea was that!?
2) Make some headings, give the page and text some shape, somewhere for my eyes to focus.
3) Lose the massive gap at the bottom of the page.
I'd say use one of the Wordpress templates you have been sent, or use them for some inspiration to change your own.

I joined, similar concept but with footy - done in wordpress but they seriously are poor at running the site.

Yeah, they are about £3000 up for the season but you have to have done it every day and to follow with the lay downs they do you have to be prepared to put down maybe £20 a day or more.
I was following the #10bets they do. I know they have had 3 or 4 wins with it. I was doing £1 to turn it into £100 rather than the £10 to £1000
But because it is poorly managed it meant the teams they were asking you to back were not going up until later in the day or just before kick off! It was too much work.
I think we have about 6 months membership left (little syndicate I am in) and we will not be subscribing next season.
