Help !!!!, Code known but I am still locked out after 2 hours!!!!

Renault philips code known...But radio wont accept. What do I do. I only disconnected it from car to test another player. Code was 2476. Pls help

Thanks , its solved. I needed to keep my finger on the button for 5 seconds after imputing the code, which I wasn't doing b4
