where is the cheapest place at the mo to get a Pioneer DVR 104 dvd burner?
I'm not too fussed about the full retail version, just a good price & not having to drive to Scotland for it ;) although the 50 free DVDRs deal is very tempting!

Yeah, and they break after 2 months use too, I phoned them 5 days ago and they said they would send an email to me with a returns form and have yet to recieve it. - Avoid......for now

I got one from the local computer fair at the wwekend for £190
Also got 512k DDR 2700 for £80 and a 120gb IBM 7200 HD for £103 :)
anyone round sheffield get one for 200 quid a bit dearer but no p&p to worry about for anyone local

ended up getting it from www.blankdiscshop.co.uk as they had some real cheap media to go with and next day delivery was only 4.99 :)
so, what about the best software to go with it seeming as its an OEM version!!?
this week i'll (hopefully) mostly be making backups of PS2 games and DVD movies ;)
You cant fall off with Primo Prassi DVD or Nero DVD
Make sure you get the firmware update so you can burn the traxdata dvd at 2x speed.
