Need help with Mercedes 1998 E320 and CLK 320
Where is the mileage located on the buffer address for the Mercedes 1998? In other words what range of addresses should I go to to make the changes?
I would like to know how you guys know which hex code to use for certain cars? Why isn't all the cars stick with the same hex code to represent the same mileage(ex. 95,000 miles)? This would make it a lot less confusing to modify the buffer. For instance A2 = 162 when it comes to converting it from HEX to Decimal, but when it comes to cars the hex is totally different if you were to convert it to 162. Can anyone explain to me how to get the mileage for any cars? Different cars have different formulas for calculation? Please give me examples and explanation.

Hi There I Do Mileage Corrections Just Wonted To No Why You Need To No The Hex For The Merc Cause The Way I Do Corrections On Mercs Up To 2000 Are By Plugging In To The Diagnostic Port

Hey Dashfixit....
How do you do the Diagnosis method? You connect the round connectors to the diagnosis area of the vehicle and just adjust the mileage through the programmer and software? This method is much easier so you won't have to remove the cluster? I found stacker 1 and stacker 2.... so those are what I plug the connectors to right?
