ok so i got my code...and now my knuckles bleed.

So i got the code for my radio, but i have the SAFE message showing. I can't get the damn radio out to try putting it in the freezer to reset the code no matter how hard i try, and i tried disconnecting the battery and that didn't reset it. Does anyone know anything else i could try, or at least know how long it will take for my radio to let me try again? it has 7 SAFE on it.
I would be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo grateful for any pointers. It's cack having a new car without music. *sigh*:splease
