I joined because I am hoping there is some useful info about mileage correction here. I come from an aviation and avionics background but am looking to setup doing mileage correction and anything else auto-electrical related that looks like it might be lucrative. I am rapidly learning that auto-systems are way way different to aircraft systems(!) so I can see I have a lot to learn but hey ya gotta start somewhere! :smile4:

Forum etiquette is quite high on the list here, like in real life you treat others with respect and you equally get it back. Contributing to the threads with good constructive posts gets you noticed for all the good reasons. Digging up old threads and the one word posts/replies to threads gets you marked as a post booster; this is not the best way to get you going on DF. With time your post count will go up and you will have full use of the forum. This has been put in place to stop Spammers, Leechers and generally1 post users that want something for nothing, they try and get it and go.
Digital forums has been going for years and has a large fan base. Some actually pay for the privilege and they get bonuses over non sub people. With time you will build up friends and likewise you will be seen here as someone that can contribute to the DF Community.

I just tried to upgrade my account to VIP status - as a newbie to my Digital Forums I was thinking how do I show some sort of support for the forum in the absense of a wealth of knowledge to share (as yet) but it won't let me. I get a "Digital Forums does not have any paid subscriptions available to which you can subscribe." when I try to upgrade to VIP status. could you psossibly explain why this is and what I have to do to qualify joining as VIP. Thanks in anticipation.
You need to make a payment VIA the "upgrade to VIP" at the top of the page. This shows for me when I klick on the icon
I've looked at your account and you haven't done this yet. Once done email Raptor@digital-forums.com and give him the details you get from upgrading to VIP and all will be set
