how do i do it? the 3G was running really slow so i wanted to scrub all the old crap and start with a fresh restore.
i want to get to a 4.x f/w version and then jailbreak
the phone has an O2 unlock so im not needing to unlock after jailbreak.
i tried shift+restore in itunes from 3.0.1 to 4.0 and 4.0.1 but i get an error
how do i do a clean upgrade / restore that i can jailbreak?
