Sabnzbd and categories

Has anyone played with these?

I grab 3 things, TV, Movies and Music.

Currently Music, TV & Movies all go onto the same partition on the NAS box. I then clean up the Music and move to the Music partition. Trouble is this takes an age, it is an actual copy rather than a move...

So, I would prefer to utilise the categories feature but I am not really sure where to start. It mentions custom categories but then groups and indexer tags!
Going to have a play but I am sure people have done this, made mistakes and learned from them.

*EDIT*

Ok, can now tell them which category whilst downloading, but I have noticed some do not have a category by default (so if you let it do it all automagically it would place them in the default location).

Must be something with wildcards I am missing here?

Have you tried Headphones?

Mine sends music to my 'Automatically add to iTunes' folder so I don't have to do anything, the sickbeard scripts take control of TV shows and Movies go to a designated folder which couchpotato then sorts out for me.

Categories: Script: Folder/path: Groups/Indexer Tags:
general none /downloads apps.*
movies none /downloads/movies movies.*
music none /media/Music/iTunes/Automatically Add to iTunes music.*
tv shows sabtosickbeard.py /media/TV Shows tv.*

Word wrap messed up my formatting but you get the idea...

I don't use Sickbeard for Music, I grab what I need and when so that won't work.
Headphones I will take a peek at though..

Sickbeard is for TV Shows and Headphones is for music ;)

SB is a must nowadays due to takedowns, that's if you like popular shows.

I think everyone on here's moving across to nzbdrone as it gets more shows then SB.

SB I have, it's configured right up to the max with shows and I have the correct logins and VIP for other places ;)

I use all the above and have now added sickbeard_mp4_automator (from Github) to automatically transcode everything I download on the fly - now works with CouchPotato and and a request has just been put in for NZBDrone as well. Great for Plex. :D
