Yeah the Chrome ad-on and alerts are handy, used this for a couple of years or so now to compare prices and see when a deal is truly a good deal.

I use this a lot, it is good to see if the Amazon Daily Deals are as good as they say.
What I have found though is it does not seem to pick up the daily deals until it is too late so it is something you have to check manually if you are looking to buy when it is at it's cheapest.

I also use one for Supermarkets called http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/ - This is great for adding items you buy regular and setting up alerts when they are on offer. So for example Nappies or baby food which is what we mainly use it for as well as wine :)
