Going to the World Cup but Staying in Dubai

I've got tickets with two mates for the second and third group games at the world cup.

Not sure if any others on here will be going?

Accommodation prices via. the official Qatar agency are ridiculous. Cheapest we could get for six nights was £9300ish and next cheapest available was £12000. Return flights are around £1300 each. Beer costs around £10 a bottle in designated places. No beer in the ground except for within hospitality. So basically no beer.

So we have switched tactics. Now we're looking at Dubai all-inclusive package holiday for £1700 each and will use the flydubai world cup shuttle flights at around $260 return to go for the two matches. We must fly in and out of Doha within 24h.

Really looking forward to it especially after a crappy year.
