Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
Normally we eat pretty healthy using fresh decent food cooked from scratch but there is always that time you all cant be arsed, got back too late or just secretly fancy it.
What is your secret chavvy meal that you cook?
By no means the worst I have made but tonight was Soup & Chips.
Bowl full of oven chips then pour the soup all over said chips . To be fair it was a fresh Petit Pois and Ham hock soup.
Anyway can you tell I'm bored. :tosser2:
Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
Cheese on toast, with a tin of All in One breakfast lobbed on top and nuked.

All in one brekkie, forgot about that chestnut ;-)
I have also in the past had a Sausage Casserole bubbling away in the slow cooker all day. We all rolled in late after being stuck in traffic, she was sorting the kids so instead of making the pre-discussed roast pots I thought fuck it and made some pasta to go with it.
Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
I haven't had this for years, but one of my favourites, especially after a night out, used to be 6 well toasted crumpets with lashings of butter topped with bacon, eggs, baked beans and HP. And I'd follow that with two large all butter chocolate chip shortbread squares, each topped with a generous thick slather of clotted cream and strawberry slices.
Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
My chavvy is fish fingers and chips with lashings of tomato ketchup on
Although the lil lady in my life is stopping at the city pad this weekend so I have gone overboard
Just thrown a pile of king prawns into the wok with some ginger spring onions fresh Garlic and a fresh chilli straight of my plant.
All set on fire with a tad of Brandy for good measure. Then once cooked I have chopped up an avocado pear and put chunks in the pan to warm through
Theese once cooled down will go on top of a simple lettuce/spring onion mix-up and voila
so 1970s prawn cocktail with a kick

Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
Ham, egg and chips... I've set many a smoke alarm off at 2am cooking this gastronomical delight.
Takes me back to getting in pissed back in the day and watching 'Get Stuffed' on CH4.

Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
It totally depends on times taken and state of intoxication.
Rushed for time at dinner time - some kind of orrible ready meal or something OR cheap aldi no frills cheese pizza and add my own stuff - Mushroms, Garlic, Sausage or any other ingredients in the fridge.
Late home and can't see two foot in front of me - eggy bread/french toast whatever you want to call it. Egg sarnies, Any single item from a fry up on bread lol (sausage, egg, bacon ect ect ect)
For some proper hangover I will eat least nights take away left overs and im still not dead lol.
I must say that the misses never "allows" any of that shit and I only ever get away with it if 1. Im on a weekend of freedom or 2. She's asleep and im quietly not burning the house down pissed lol.
Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
I remember once when pissed fancying some chapatti's with some left over curry I had in the fridge.
Fuck me the state of the kitchen the next morning. The frying pan was fucked and there was flour everywhere. It looked like I ended up eating the curry with tortilla chips or crisps but I was in the dog house for ages.
Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
we did some trips one night and decided we needed to make kebabs, a trip to tesco later after getting thrown out for sticking our fingers in all the bread and rolling around on the floor we found ourselves waking up in a kitchen totally smeared in pork stuff - not us the kitchen I still have no fucking idea how food was smeared on walls, windows, doors and floors.
I used to like a Hollands meat and potato pie with a tin of Heinz vegetable soup over it .

Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
To me a dirty burger or a filth doner kebab is my filth.
I too eat relatively healthy and cook from scratch a good few times a week.
A pukka pie maybe or some other processed meat thing. Salami, pork pie sort of thing.
A cheeky Nando's or Kfc will result in smelly farts and sweat like grease...

Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
I had some ice cream the other day and thought it would be a bit bland on its own so knocked up a brownie in the microwave.
2 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons caster sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons cadburys hot chocolate.
pinch of salt
60 seconds in the microwave. A ghetto desert for a man who couldn't be bothered to walk 200m to the shop to get a proper brownie
Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
Slices of spam, 1cm thick and grilled until crispy at the edges... bad as fuck for you but damn tasty
Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
Pot noodle butty simple tasty .. also chees and strawberry jam sandwich so nice
Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
Batchelor's 'Pasta n Sauce' gotta be the cheese n broccoli one and if you are super hungry, whack it on toast.
Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
Dish of cold baked beans - best out of the fridge + Cubes of cheddar was always my go to, post pissed snack of choice.
That, or 1 sided toast, cos we didn't have a toaster so I had to grill it and couldn't be arsed to turn it over and wait when I had the lager lean on.
Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
My current trend for when I come back in plastered is devouring a load of ice cream.
Re: Shame cooking. The meal you know you shouldnt.
Not a meal, more of a snack but really enjoy a banana in a roll with strawberry jam, sound disgusting but is delish.
