Nero has started to spit out the blank cd-r's and ask for a new one
i have tried 4 different brands of cd-r but they just get spat out again and again :(
has any one had this problem and know how i could solve it

does your writer write cd's with any other software or is the problem only in nero
i have removed all other cd programs (but when i had fireburner on that did the same thing)
it sounds as if the writer might be playing up can you try it in another machine that would give you some idea

As cosmicma says it looks as if the writer has gone tits up, try a laser cleaning CD it may help, (does the writer still read CDs?):rolls:

I have solved the problem
Nero was the problem i don't know what exactly but i uninstalled it
and went back to a older VER of Nero and it's ok now :)
By chance were you using the Nero Express option instead of the Nero Wizard to burn your CDs?
I had much the same problem and it worked fine in the wizard but Nero Express spat out CDs :(
yeh i have had similar problems with Nero Express - returning to the main application was ok though - maybe Ahead need to iron out a few bugs
I tried using Nero express on a clients machine for the first time to explain how seasy it was to copy Cd's and yes it did EXACTYL the same when i tried to burn MP3's - CD and CD's + Files.
I recommend if you know how to use Nero to ditch the express and use the classic nero program. The wizard seems pretty straight forward however i have never tried to burn things with it, i normally go Close wizard and do it myself.
Blow - how did you go back to a older version? are you using a Nero which you got with a CD-Writer or one you have got of someone? sometimes the key in nero is locked to that certain CD-Writer and WILL NOT burn any CD's if your using a plextor for example with a liteon CD -key.
I uninstalled the Nero 5599 that was causing me the problem and run reg-cleaner then put Nero5582 back on.
now all is fine again :)
I will just have 2 wait for a bug free Nero 5599
