DishNetwork box goes nuts.

I have DIshNetwork and an auto-roll v6 board, however I don't know if the scripts im putting on it are autoroll. Anyway, the box just burns, so the company says they have to send me another one, i'm fine with that, after hacking the new box, it burns a month later, then in tech support the guy blatently asks if I have any chips hanging out the door with the card inserted in it, I blatently lie back, so is this bieng caused by the board I have, and what should I do, every time they make me pay shipping and what not, which is costing me more than just subscribing. Anyone with similar experiences know how to solve this? thanks.
