A new preview version of Windows 10 leaked over the weekend, and build 10051 brought with it a few updated applications as well as a few new features here and there.
Some of which were revealed in a video.
However, it appears that the Spartan web browser also got in on a little refresh, with Microsoft adding in an option to open a link with Internet Explorer — this is the company adding in this functionality for enterprise users and those that encounter compatibility issues with Spartan.
Internet Explorer, as we know, is going to be hidden away in Windows Accessories.
Anyway, as reported here, this new feature is in the latest build of Spartan, and is available in plain sight for now. Somewhat of a stark contrast to the policy above of hiding away IE from end users:

In essence just a security blanket for power users and enterprise customers in case they have some websites, pages or applications that do not render correctly on this new browser.
Plus there’s no guarantee that this option will actually be there in the final version of Spartan.
At least not in this place.
Currently, clicking on the Settings icon in Spartan shows this option to open a page in Internet Explorer, and doing so you are prompted with a survey that can be used to let Microsoft know why you needed the other browser.
