Windows 10 Build 10056 Leaks, Download Links Available

We’re approaching the weekend, and it can only mean one thing. Which is the fact that Windows 10 build 10056 has leaked with links made available to download in the usual places.
As has been the case previously, Microsoft partners have leaked a preview version of the OS just before the weekend. With the very obvious intention of allowing fans and enthusiasts a chance to try out the latest build of the operating system over the break.
We already know that this version comes with a new Recycle Bin icon, Spartan as the default browser and a host of other UI touchups.

Redmond, of course, doesn't recommend that users install these leaks build, and the company does not usually provide support and updates for these versions.
That is, if you don’t plan on running these builds in virtual machines or on secondary computers.
With the latest version of Windows 10 for Phones now out in the open, attention now shifts to the next desktop build of the operating system that Microsoft will officially release to Windows Insiders, hopefully in the next week or so.

Not yet, Waiting for the Fast path update.
Re: Windows 10 Build 10056 Leaks, Download Links Available
Have tried windows 10. Not this specific build but earlier ones.
Personally really like it. At first it was really slow but as build went by it soon sped up a lot. Seems really stable and like the UI.
Microsoft have done good Windows versions and bad even terrible ones. This I would put in with the good ones imho.
Re: Windows 10 Build 10056 Leaks, Download Links Available
is this fully functional, badly need to reinstall windows on my laptop, may as well jump to win10
Re: Windows 10 Build 10056 Leaks, Download Links Available
Yes Windows 10 is fully functional. As with all preview builds you will probably find some features either don't work as they should or not implemented yet.
The only issue I have had is the Realtek audio drivers don't work as they should... i.e. 5.1 audio doesn't work but quad and stereo do. M$ know the issue and have a fix in the next build. (Hopefully in this one)
But as I wait for the fast path installs (Still running 10049 atm) it will update automatically..

Unless your willing to beta test and experience possible bugs glitches and other anomaly's, and take the time to report all the problems found to Microsoft to help better the product, pre release versions might not be for you
or unless you want a quick lookie at what it will be like

With Beta's I tend to run them as VM's, I wouldn't have this as a main OS right now.
EDIT - just dropped 10056 on so will see over the next day or so how it performs. At least in this build Virtualbox detects my monitor properly at 1900 x 1200. All seems happy so far. Not too convinced initially about the look of the new icons.
