Samsung Windows 7 OEM DVD Needed
I'm looking for a Samsung Windows 7 OEM DVD (preferably Professional/Ultimate).
Mate asked me to sort his laptop, I used the 48 in 1 DVD, but 7x64 fails to update, and 7x86 installs and seems to run fine, but a few apps I've installed won't run so I want to try again with a proper Samsung DVD, but I've been looking around on the net and can't find one yet :(

Re: Samsung Windows 7 OEM DVD Needed
Weird it won't update, I'd just get a clean image, install without entering a key then using SLIC activation as it should have a 2.1 SLIC in BIOS if it originally came with win 7. You can use SLIC toolkit to check the table in the BIOS first if you want then once windows is installed you install the appropriate certificate and key, reboot then it will activate permenantly.
If you need any help just let me know.
Re: Samsung Windows 7 OEM DVD Needed
Downloaded the 12 in 1 and it's all good.
Really strange thing, first time round I used a 64Gb SSD I had lying around, next time I used a 500Gb HDD, and the laptop is much faster with HDD.
I'm wondering if the problem wasn't the windows DVD but if the SSD might actually be a bit dodgy.
Re: Samsung Windows 7 OEM DVD Needed
it would have struggle with space on the 64gb i had a 128gb and after awhile had to constantly delete stuff.
Re: Samsung Windows 7 OEM DVD Needed
Yep, I was strongly recommending a 500Gb SSD, but owner declined. I was just thinking I would use the 64Gb to quickly install then image to an normal hdd.
