Leighton Moss & Jenny Brown's Point
Did a bit of bird photography at Leighton Moss RSPB - though nothing challenging as they were all kind of not doing much.
There wasn't much of interest either aside form common birds/wildfowl, so I tried to be creative with them...

Then there was a nice cottage in the evening light:

Then there were the views - this out to the Irish Sea:

Then the last few are at a place known as Jenny Brown's Point - this skilfully constructed tall chimney of limestone which stands on the shoreline at Jenny Brown's point is the only remains of a copper smelting works established at the end of the 18th century. A deep channel enabled shipping to dock at the now ruined jetty, conveying machinery for the enterprise.

The one above was taken with the sun behind me, and then I whiled away some time until the sun went lower in the sky to shoot back into the light. I did underexpose in error, so I had to do a touch of HDR. This also introduced noise, so I also did a black and white version to help mask it.
