Re: Outdoor bike storage box
How about a keter box? They had some deals recently on hukd.
Edit- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Keter-XL-Sto.../dp/B004R1T3CY
Seems about 200mm to small but they was selling for £77 recently so might be worth looking out for.

Are they going to be secure enough for bikes?
I used to use them in work for building Electricity board mains positions but they got more and more flimsy over the years. I would imagine one good kick could break it enough to get to the bikes.
Re: Outdoor bike storage box
You wouldn't hear them mate. Seriously, they'd be in, opened, bikes out and gone before you'd rolled over and followed through with a wet fart.
When it comes to bike storage.... ain't no compromise, you need something secure. They're expensive but in the long run, I think it'd be the better option.
Have a look here. Plus they're weather sealed which means no rain on your bikes and no slug/snail shit.

Big block of concrete in the ground for a floor anchor, get some of the heavy hardcore gold grade locks (or just stupid heavy duty chain and job done.
Re: Outdoor bike storage box
Hey,
not sure what council you are in but last year I was accepted for a free cycle storage box in the garden as part of an initiative to get more people using bikes for work.
I will try and dig out the details but it is worth looking into as they are solid metal construction and free!
