New phone... But not new new....
All,
I have a HTC one SV which is great. But it has a low res screen so I want to change it.
I have found locally a Nexus 5 and an LG G2. Which both fit the bill well.
They are both the same insides and I know that the G2 gets better reviews but I like vanilla Android....
Is either much better I anyone's experience....
.
Cheers

I have had a nexus 5 since launch, still as quick as day one absolutely no complaints battery easily lasts a day with normal usage.

I also have a Nexus 5 since launch
Well pleased with it, very fast and display is great.
Except I dropped it and broke the glass, replacement not cheap.
Should have had a cover or silicon 'bumper' on it really.

I never put cases on phones and haven't with the nexus 5 either. I've dropped it on concrete a few times and the worst I have had is a small chip out of the corner. I guess I've been lucky.
I'm pretty sure the nexus 5 was on hukd the other day although I can't remember the price.

Re: New phone... But not new new....
I had to choose between the 2 and I went for the LG. So far I am happy with it, although I wouldn't feel happy without a good case on it. My current one adds a lot of bulk and it does knock the look of the phone. I'm not sure if the same would apply to the Nexus.
I certainly miss the metal build of my old HTC Desire and I'm not sure if I should have gone for an M8.
One thing I will say is the LG flavoring isnt an issue at all, any included software seems to be removable just like any other app and some things like the screen grab and knock to wake are great.
