    Advice Coping MKV to Ipad

    I'm an Apple newbie!

I want to copy across some films to watch which are MKV files to an ipad with the latest OS. It appears i need to either convert them or buy WALTR software to drag and drop..

Can any one tell me what I should be using?

Seem daft to have to buy extra software to do this..

I used to use Handbrake to convert files for devices, they have presets for iPad, iPhone etc. This may not be the best method now but pretty easy

I've been using the https://softorino.com/w2 24 hour trial version and its really impressive with drag and drop wired and wifi transfer it works really well. Just can't believe I have to pay £40 for something itunes should do out the box.
