I have reattached the file with the changes.

You will see the first part copies the range E33-35 and when pastes it transposes this to columns for you ;-)

You could write a skip on error but then this would not ever get added?

Oh we make seats for cars ;-)

    Right, new day new problem.
The file works pretty much as I want it now, but I think when running at work the saving of each line individually may take too long. So I thought I'd try and make an option so it saved the data for that day in one step at the end.
So I am going step by step, first selecting the data using a filter in a macro. This is where the problem is, I try to filter using the date and shift in 'DATAINPUT' This works when I select the shift but not the date. However if I manually filter it works, If I copy and paste the value from the date it works, if I change the date format to General it works. Probably easier to see for yourself. In the attached file just go to DATACOLLECT tab and press the 'Button1' this filters everything when it should display data from the day and shift entered in DATAINPUT.

    Ideas why anyone?

(haven't even got to the saving part yet!!!)

Why does original macro take so long is only a few bits of data being thrown about?

Just been back on today and I've no idea whats happening. Every time I use the filter and turn it off the thing crashes. Disabled the copy part of the macro and its the same.
